Join me as I lead you through a journey of colorful layering and mark-making with acrylic paint. Explore techniques and creative processes inspired by colors, marks, and florals. Each video is in bite-size chunks so you can choose to really savor this course over a few days or weeks - whatever you prefer!

My favorite way to paint is by layering with all types of mark-making + gorgeous colors. My style is a combination of intuitive painting and realistic whimsy, creating colorful joy on any surface. In this class we will be painting a bright and beautiful bouquet of florals while I take you through the step by step process using my creative techniques.

From playing with stencils and paint pens I will show you some of my favorite ways to create some beautiful details. It's usually the way these small moves come together that make the painting whole and feel complete when you are finished.

Playing with all my favorites!

Acrylic paints, acrylic inks or fluid paint (included is a video on how-to-make your own), stencils - all kinds, and paint pens. As well as some supplies like oil pastels, brushes and tracing paper. And, always stay true to the colors that you love. All my lessons can easily be done in a color palette of your choosing.

    No, I encourage you to work with what you have and adapt the classes to suit your needs. I am all for mixing things up and experimenting with materials! Many students find it helpful to watch a class through first and then decide on their supply choices.
