Come Paint With Me!
There's something magical about watching watercolor move across the paper. It's one of my favorite ways to slow down, enjoy a little creative time, and let go of the idea that every painting has to be perfect. Many mornings you'll find me with a cup of tea, my sketchbook, and a paintbrush, making simple circles and playful shapes. I never know exactly what's going to happen, and that's part of the fun. Sometimes those little circles stay circles. Other times they become loose, colorful flowers I never could have planned. I'd love to share that simple watercolor practice with you. In this workshop, we'll spend a relaxing live session playing with color, enjoying the process, and seeing where the paint takes us.
During Our Time Together
We'll start with simple watercolor circles and loose shapes that take the pressure off getting everything "right." As we paint, you'll explore beautiful color combinations and enjoy watching the colors blend and move across the paper. From those simple shapes, we'll begin to create loose, whimsical flowers, adding leaves and simple details as our pages come to life. By the end of class, you'll have a colorful floral painting and a simple watercolor practice you can return to whenever you need a little creative time.
This Workshop Is for You If...
This workshop is for anyone who would love to spend a relaxing morning painting and playing with color. Whether you've been meaning to pull your watercolors back out or you already enjoy painting and want to loosen up a little, you'll feel right at home. If you love flowers but don't feel like painting every petal perfectly, or you're simply looking for a creative practice that feels joyful, approachable, and easy to come back to, I'd love to have you join me.
More Than a Finished Painting
Yes, you'll leave with a page full of colorful flowers, but my hope is that you'll take away something even more valuable. I want you to leave feeling relaxed, inspired, and excited to paint again. You'll see how a few simple circles can turn into something beautiful, and you'll discover that watercolor doesn't have to be perfect to be enjoyable. My hope is that this workshop becomes the beginning of a simple creative practice you can come back to whenever you need a little time to slow down and play with color.

Creativity Is Our Superpower
I truly believe creativity is our superpower, and I also believe we all need a little more time to slow down and make something with our hands. When you join one of my live workshops, I'll be right there painting alongside you, cheering you on every step of the way. You can ask questions, paint at your own pace, or simply enjoy watching the process unfold. One of my favorite parts is seeing everyone create something a little different while sharing the same experience. There's something special about spending a few hours painting together, and I can't wait to share this watercolor practice with you.

Art Supplies
Don't worry if you don't have every supply on this list. One of the things I love about watercolor is that you can create beautiful paintings with just a few basic materials. Feel free to use what you already have at home.
A complete supply list with links to my favorite supplies will be waiting for you inside your classroom after you register.
Don't feel like you need to have the exact same supplies I use. This workshop is all about slowing down, playing with color, and enjoying the process. Use what you have, and we'll create something beautiful together.
For this workshop, you'll need:
- Watercolor paper (hot or cold press is fine. Cold press will give you more texture.)
- Watercolor paints (in your favorite colors!)
- A few round watercolor brushes 02, 06, 08
- A palette or plate for mixing colors
- A couple of containers of clean water
- Paper towels
