Why This Week Matters
So many of us move quickly through our lives and travels, taking photos we rarely look at again. Sketching changes that. When you sketch a place, a café table, a street corner, or even a quick moment from a trip, you notice more. You remember more. The experience becomes part of you in a different way. This week is not about perfect drawings. It’s about slowing down long enough to truly see where you are.

This week is for you if…
This week is for anyone who wants to bring a sketchbook along while traveling and learn a simple, approachable way to capture memories creatively. Whether you enjoy watercolor, pen, pencil, or mixed media, you’ll explore lightweight sketching techniques designed to help you feel more confident sketching on the go. If you’ve always wanted to try travel sketching, collect meaningful moments in your sketchbook, and make creativity feel calming instead of overwhelming, this week was created for you.
What we’ll explore together!
Each day is designed to help you bring your sketchbook along this summer and capture the places, moments, and memories you want to remember.

My Sketchbook Practice
Keeping a sketchbook practice has been one of my best habits as an artist. It helped me explore new ideas that have led to incredible projects, stay disciplined in becoming a better artist, and most importantly, has been a therapeutic part of my day. I truly believe that being Creative is our Superpower. And once you tap into that energy, the world is at your fingertips. And all you need is 10-15 minutes a day!
