I was nervous to try this course being a newbie to art, and I just absolutely fell in love with the process. Andrea takes the time to teach step by step with grace and humor! I'm an absolute fan and love the style, the process and the intentions we lay down on our canvases prior to layering! I recommend these courses to EVERYONE!

Having never painted an elephant before, I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Andrea is an excellent instructor as well as an accomplished artist, and she guided me every step of the way.

After previously completing Andrea’s amazing “Colorful Joy” class, I didn’t hesitate to sign up for the “Whimsical Elephant” class. It is a must to take! Andrea is a wonderful teacher who is organized, clear and detailed in her instruction, encouraging and FUN!

This course has it all - it is action packed with layer upon layer upon layer to finally have your own Ellie painting! Layers starting off with inspirational words/poems/sayings, followed by acrylic inks and drips. Then it’s the meditative layers of different mark making, lots of details to add, stencils - so much fun. Next it’s time for Ellie to make an appearance - a transfer template is provided for those like me, who feel more comfortable not going free-hand, to outline Ellie. Another layer, more inks, more marks. A great course for learning about applying different layers, using tools to make marks, painting a whimsical Ellie and how to have a fun time whilst doing so. I loved it!!

This course with Andrea was delightful! I learned so much and enjoyed her style of “no pressure” teaching ! Her enthusiasm is contagious! I love her unexpected use of color! 😍
